For lovers of deep house, techno and electronic music in general, São Paulo is a Walhalla. São Paulo is renowned for its abundance of creative talent and this is reflected in the number of clubs and parties.
These are my favorites.
1. D-EDGE
2. Carlos Capslock
3. Selvagem
4. Gop Tun
1. D-EDGE
The renowned magazine DJ Mag considers the club to be among the best 100 in the world. Famous DJs like Ricardo Villalobos, Maceo Plex, Richie Hawtin, and Nina Kraviz have completely rocked the house there, but also rising talents from the underground house scene regularly perform there.
The latter makes D-EDGE in São Paulo the club in Brazil for connoisseurs of house and techno.
The futuristically furnished club consists of three stories and has a rooftop where you can smoke. The audience of D-EDGE, certainly on the night we were there (FREAK CHIC), is überhip and seemed to have just walked off the catwalk. Still, D-EDGE is absolutely not a club that revolves around seeing and being seen.
It claims to be a club where music stands out and hopes to draw in an audience that appreciates just that. The entrance fee is sixty real. There are no separate restrooms for men and women. The club doesn’t come to life until after 2:00.
Address: Avenida Auro Soares de Moura Andrade, 141 – Barra Funda, São Paulo
2. Carlos Capslock
Carlos Capslock is a club night organized monthly in changing venues. Think of vacant apartment buildings, to areas in neighborhoods that you normally never would come.
With Tessuto as resident DJ, they have one of the most talented DJs in Brazil in the house. Deephouse and techno are mainly played. The audience is a mix of heteros, gays, and transvestites. The parties often go on until the next day at 15:00 PM.

3. Selvagem
Selvagem are two DJs who run back to back their club nights in changing locations. Consider, for example, a vacant train station in no-go areas in São Paulo. It is therefore often advisable to take an Uber.
The sets of DJs Millos Kaiser and Trepanado consist of a mix of deep house, techno, disco, and funk with a Brazilian sauce. It attracts an alternative and eclectic crowd.

4. Gop Tun
Gop Tun also organizes parties at changing locations. They describe their music as a mix of disco and house.
