1. Fast Berlin
Located in a side street of the popular street Rua dos Pinheiros you will find the restaurant Fast Berlin, specialized in German street food. They have vegetarian dishes on the menu, but you mainly go for the bratwurst. Some snacks are a mix of Brazilian and German cuisine, such as the coxinha filled with pork. This is not to be missed. You are also at the right address for a German pint. They have 40 types of beer in the house and 9 on tap. National and international.
Address: Rua Mourato Coelho 24 in Pinheiros

2. Mortadela Brasil
Mortadela Brasil is located on the first floor of the Mercado Municipal of São Paulo – a large covered market with countless eateries. In addition to the famous mortadela sandwich, the pastel de camarão – a large spring roll with shrimp – is the tastiest I have eaten in Brazil.
Address: Rua da Cantareira 306 in Centro

3. Estadão Bar & Lanches
Everyone in São Paulo knows this place. It is open 24 hours a day and has won many prizes. Order the classic, a pernil sandwich with pork, cheese, and pineapple and understand why this restaurant is so popular.
Address: Viaduto Nove de Julho 193 in Centro

4. Ráscal
When I am extremely hungry, I like to go to this slightly expensive, but excellent Italian restaurant. I order the buffet where you can eat as much and often as you want for a fixed amount.
Address: Alameda Santos 870 in Jardim Paulista

5. Sancho Bar Y Tapas
A good Spanish restaurant that is known for its romantic atmosphere. Many Brazilian men take their date to this restaurant to increase the chance of success. Do not be surprised by the kissing couples around you.
Address: Rua Augusta 1415 in Consolação

6. Dedo de la Chica
Great Mexican restaurant with a super nice interior. Tip: ask for a table in their beautiful patio.
Address: Rua Fidalga 32 in Vila Madalena

7. Boteco São Paulo
For a good, honest and delicious Brazilian meal you come to this boteco. A favorite among the locals.
Address: Avenida Pompéia 2089 in Vila Pompeia

8. Z Deli Sandwich Shop
For the tastiest hamburger in São Paulo you have to go to Z Deli. My favorite is the New York City with bacon.
Address: Rua Haddock Lobo 1386 in Cerqueira César of Rua Francisco Leitão 16 in Pinheiros

9. St. Louis
A very good alternative to the Z Deli Sandwich Shop is St. Louis. Stick to a hamburger sandwich. The salads and drinks are a lot less interesting and a bit overpriced.
Address: Rua Batataes 242 in Jardim Paulista

10. Jam
For sushi, you have to travel to Itaim Bibi. Jam is a nice and relaxed restaurant where live bossa nova is played at the weekend to top it off. Be sure to order one of their impressive cocktails. After all, a fish must be able to swim.
Address: Rua Lopes Neto 308 in Itaim Bibi

11. Cantina Gigio
The fluorescent lighting does not make it one of my favorite restaurants in São Paulo for a romantic date. Still, I like to come there often. By default, I order the antipasto, lasagna, and pudim for dessert. On a Sunday afternoon, there are about 30 people waiting in line to come in. And that says enough.
Address: Rua dos Pinheiros 355 in Pinheiros

12. Peixaria Bar e Venda
If you like seafood, I recommend visiting this restaurant. One of my favorite restaurants in São Paulo. You drink your caipirinha out of a jar. A bit hipster-style, I know. But they are really the best. Also, order some bolinhos de bacalhau. The seafood snack from Brazil.
Address: Rua Inácio Pereira da Rocha 112 in Vila Madalena

13. Bar Astor
It is a beautiful art deco-style restaurant. I always order the risotto and – how surprisingly – a caipirinha. It is a restaurant that attracts a somewhat affluent audience.
Address: Rua Delfina 163 in Vila Madalena

14. O Vegetariano
When I was a vegetarian, I came here a few times a week. It is an excellent buffet, for which you pay a fixed amount. You can come here until 3 p.m. daily, with the exception of Sundays. Tip: you will receive a discount after 14:00.
Address: Rua Dr. Rafael de Barros 40 in Paraíso

15. Raful
An awarded restaurant in which you can eat the best Arab snacks from São Paulo. Located near the busy shopping street Rua 25 de Março, where everyone buys their carnival clothing.
Address: Rua Comendador Abdo Schahin 118 in Centro
