Why are Brazilian women so beautiful?

Jimi den Hollander

Well, I think we can all agree on the beauty of Brazilian women. Beauty of exceptional class. For example:

  1. Brazil is often at the top of the list of countries with the most beautiful women.
  2. A lot of famous supermodels come from Brazil.
  3. Imagine carnival in Brazil, and the scantily dressed beauties dancing as though their lives depend on it immediately come to mind.

Because Brazil has the reputation of being a country with an abundance of beautiful and cute women, this attracts many Western men. In fact: in the ‘70s and ‘80s, the government even used this to lure in tourists.

Still unconvinced? I will give you 5 reasons why Brazilian women are so beautiful.

1. Ethnic blending
2. Plastic surgery
3. Fixation on staying fit
4. Beauty care
5. Character (inner beauty)

1. Ethnic blending

Singer Anitta

The beauty of Brazilian women is a positive result of the ethnic blending that has been going on for centuries. No racial segregation was the norm elsewhere in the world for a long time.

Singer Eliana Pittman (1978)

This ethnic blending makes it difficult to pinpoint the looks of the typical Brazilian woman. At most, you could indicate a type that is most common, but that would fail to do justice to the incredible diversity of women in Brazil.

Brazilian woman with African roots

For example, in the south, you will find women with blonde hair, blue eyes, and fair skin – thanks to their German ancestors. Whereas, further north, in the state of Bahia, you will find darker women with African roots.

In between, you can find a wide range of different looks: women who differ in terms of color and build. They often have a mix of German, Portuguese, Italian, native or African blood. And, did you know that the largest Japanese community outside of Japan lives in São Paulo?

No matter how specific your taste, there’s a suitable woman in Brazil for every man. Including you.

2. Plastic surgery

Brazil is the country that has on average the most plastic surgeons per inhabitant: one for every 4,500 to be exact. Only in China and the US do people have more work done on their bodies annually.

Brazilian women give nature a hand is an open secret. ‘Enhanced’ breasts, butts, and noses are commonplace.

3. Fixation on staying fit

In Brazil, it’s warm all year round. As a result, you wear airy clothes. Or, should I say ‘scanty’ in the case of Brazilian women?

The Brazilian woman’s wardrobe mainly consists of short skirts, shorts, tops and, if she lives on the coast, a tiny bikini is an absolute must. In short: revealing outfits that leave little to the imagination.

Brazilian women, therefore, feel the need to stay fit. And they have a lifelong subscription to the gym.

If there’s one body part that receives an extra intensive workout, it’s the butt, the bunda. This is a very popular body part for which special pageants are even organized, such as Miss Bumbum. There are even Brazilian women who have become famous because of their butts and make their living off this, such as Mulher Melancia (Watermelon woman of Brazil).

Slowly, the aesthetic ideal is moving toward the Western ideal. Young Brazilian girls desire to be as skinny as catwalk models.

4. Beauty care

Last but not least, Brazilian women spend a fortune on make-up, beauty salons, clothes and hairdressers. When looking at their income, they spend about 11 times more on beauty products than women from the UK.

Before going out, a Brazilian woman will easily spend hours in the bathroom to groom herself to perfection.

So, she’ll also do this before going out with you!

5. Character (inner beauty)

Where in the West women and men are becoming increasingly equal in terms of work, education, interests, clothing, and ambitions, the man is often still the head of the household in Brazil.

For example, Brazilian men don’t like it when their wife makes more money or has or desires a more successful career. This would only disrupt the traditional relationship between the two. Looking at the average Brazilian woman’s attitude within a relationship, you could call it pretty subservient.

This doesn’t mean that women spend all their time slaving behind the stove and that the men are the only ones who work. In the lower social classes, both the men and the women contribute to the income, otherwise, they’d be in trouble financially. In these relationships, the woman’s opinion carries more weight.

What are other typical characteristics of Brazilian women?

They are:

  1. Modest
  2. Submissive
  3. Caring
  4. Warm
  5. Friendly
  6. Loyal
  7. A little insecure about their appearance
  8. Energetic
  9. Sensual
  10. Interested
  11. Cheerful
  12. Humorous
  13. Passionate in bed
  14. Expectant in bed
  15. Romantic

They are also (which is sometimes less appealing):

  1. Temperamental
  2. Jealous
  3. Proud
  4. Stubborn

Brazilian women still have a mindset that takes its cues from traditional roles. They feel that keeping their partner happy is the basis for a healthy relationship. They appreciate the companionship and safety you offer them and the fact that you often pick up the bill.

As long as you don’t cheat on them and put food on the table, a Brazilian woman will treat you well. You’d be hard-pressed to find a sweeter, cuter and more caring woman.
